Practice at Laurieston is usually by invitation only and is where instructors and higher graded students get the chance to practice and analyse their own technique in more depth. Basic form, timing, distance, harmony and projection along with focus and spirit are sometimes tested to the limit as they strive to find the way.

The current grading syllabus has been reviewed and upgraded, all instructors are requested to attend classes over the summer period to be updated on current practice. Our restructuring will be implemented at the weeks course along with an instructor assessment programme to ensure continuity of best practice and conformity.
