Practice at Laurieston is usually by invitation only and is where instructors and higher graded students get the chance to practice and analyse their own technique in more depth. Basic form, timing, distance, harmony and projection along with focus and spirit are sometimes tested to the limit as they strive to find the way. Laurieston dojo is small and on average only four to five students train at any one time
